UVC Coil Cleaner for HVAC Systems

Attributes

Description

Quantity: 1, AprilAire helps make your home a Healthy Air environment with the UVC Coil Cleaner. The powerful UV lamp (17-Watt, T5 4 pin bulb) works within your HVAC system to kill up to 99.9% of mold that can grow as a result of the moist, dark environment around the evaporator coil. (Testing performed on Aspergillus Niger mold spores in a sheet metal duct with a new lamp placed 18 in. from the surface.) It optimizes efficiency by limiting the growth of biofilm that can build up on the coil, restrict airflow and impede energy transfer by up to 15%. This chemical-free cleaning solution also kills bacteria and prevents your HVAC system from becoming a source of poor air quality. For installation, it can be mounted with an external bracket or with an internal magnet to fit any AC system that uses a condenser coil (A-coil). The AprilAire UVC Coil Cleaner makes it simple to experience the benefits of a clean evaporator coil in your HVAC system. Application Type: Electric. Biodegradable: No. Degreaser: No. Pack Size: 1.
